Chelsey and Rylann

Over the past 8 months I have lost 56 pounds by decreasing calories and increasing my level of exercise.  Part of this process has included taking walks with my family by my side for support.  I am so thankful for each one of them. I would not be where I am at this point in my weight loss journey without them. They are my inspiration.

Chelsey now carrying Rylann.

Chelsey pushes me to walk faster because her legs are longer than mine. That is, until Rylann gets tired and wants Mommy or Nauna to carry her after the first half mile or less.

Daniel and Gabriel dealing with the heat of the summer

Daniel and Gabriel keep us all entertained, running ahead, lagging behind, or just being silly taking off their shirts because it is way too hot outside.

Daniel and Leslie setting the pace

Lesley pushes me to walk farther because what he lacks in stride he makes up in endurance. He can walk for miles, though he spends the first mile trying to catch up with me.

Now that’s what I call support!

I am thankful for my walking buddies. I probably owe them all my life.
